The freaks are out in full force...It sucks that I live so close to the coolest theatre in Seattle.

"Waiting" Geek is there, as well as people dressed up like every loser from the movie. All looking pale and sweaty from spending to much time playing D&D.

There was even a Van complete with airbrushed scene of Luke with a LightSabre.

Damn I wish I had a Digital camera.

    Good Luck

    hahahahaha

no man it's cool, it makes you feel all 'social' and normal. Like you have a clue.

Is anyone going to see the third star wars in the theatres?

I'm not anyway. I feel like I've wasted precious evening time on attack of the clones, which IMO is one of the worst movies I've seen to date.

Several people who shall remain nameless from my collage are taking all of tomorrow off to have "Star Wars Day" Where they are going to watch Episode I and Episode II on DVD, drive to the cinema and watch Episode III, drive home and watch Episodes IV, V and VI. This according to them will be amazing and they are also so excited that they might not be able to get to sleep tonight.

I'll still see Episode III in the cinema though. Not opening weekend, but I enjoyed the first 2 episodes enough to see how it ends/begins...

I'm going to see it tonight at 12.31am (technically that's tomorrow) at the UCI cinema in Huddersfield. I had considered watch episodes I and II over the last couple of days to get me in the mood but haven't had time. I'm no geek though (well, myabe a little). I'm not going dressed as a Stormtrooper or anything.

I know that a lot of people don't like these newer Star Wars movies but I was a big fan of the originals so I am viewing them through rose tinted spectacles. But if the reviews are anything to go by then Episode III should be good if not great.

Well I went to see it and was disappointed to be honest. It was a good movie, and certainly better than the proceeding two. I think the problem is that we all already know exactly what was going to happen.

So was there really a need for these three prequals? I'm sure everyone on this board will have lots of bad things to say about Star Wars as you're a negative bunch. No one here seems to like anything popular or mainstream film.

Anyway regardless of the new films the original trilogy still rule.

Ive heard the last battle lasts over an half an hour.

Was it cool? And who fought whom?

I just dont like the prequels. THe first trilogy is allright, just not my cup of tea.

And with the mainstream stuff, its not that I dont like it, its just that its all so mainstream, you know.

The last battle goes on for about 10 minutes and to be honest isn't amazing. The battle between Obe Wan & General Grievous is better.

Why are we such a "negative bunch"? Is it because most people here don't like mainstream films? This is a guerilla filmmakers board y'know?

    Wait...was that too negative?
